If you like Chinese food, then please don't eat here. I have tried this restaurant 6 different times. I have gone on different days, different times of the year and at different times of the day. I know that sometimes a business can have an off day due to uncontrollable circumstances, but China King has let me down every time. At first glance this looks like Chinese buffet heaven, however, although there are at least 6 different buffet islands, there is surprisingly little in the way of Chinese cuisine. Initially the first buffet island has 4 to 6 Chinese dishes to choose from, then the next island is American food, then Mexican food, a "desert" buffet and a salad bar. At the back of the buffet service area there is a "sushi" bar with a selection of different items to choose from, but, frankly Kroger's has better, fresher tasting sushi. Every time I have tried the food here it has been very over cooked, and almost tasteless. I don't like giving a bad review. Being a business owner myself I know how important word of mouth is, but, as a consumer I feel it is equally important that we be made aware of other's experience so that we can make an informed selection. You must pay first before entering the dining area, any food uneaten cannot be "doggie bagged". I have seen customers come in to get take away and have seen the staff practically shadow them while they are making their selections. I would hope they will aspire in the future to "step up" and truly earn the name "China King." ....Would have given less than a full star, but could not post without rating.

No complaints on the food... But the temperature in the building EVERY time I have visited here is extremely frustrating. It is always so humid and blazing hot. I’m only 25, I shouldn’t be having hot flashes sitting down in a booth eating. I hope something can be done about this issue, because it’d be a great place if that were fixed.

Poor girl at the cash register was lost and didn't know what she was doing. Manager stepped in and helped her which was good. Server was alright. Left him a tip:) . Definitely need to update their recipes. Noodles were overcooked. The place could definitely benefit from a brighter and maybe more lively atmosphere. An alright place for anyone specifically craving Chinese food but probably won't recommend

First and very last visit. When we walked in there was no one at the host stand but there were 2 people behind the counter to the right but neither of them even acknowledged us until I said, "I guess we seat ourselves." The girl behind the counter then told us we had to pay before we could even be seated and it was $27 for me and my husband on a Monday night. The girl at the front counter was complaining that they didn't have any tips that day for her to but in and she was not happy that I didn't leave a tip on my card. But why would we tip before we even tried the place? We went to go get our food and nothing was hot or fresh at all. The food was nasty. I mean even the sweet tea was nasty. Neither one of us finished even one plate. We won't be going back there, ever. Our waiter was nice, or else I honestly wouldn't even give this place one star.
